How to Make Greeting Cards With Paper Cutouts

Cut out whatever you'd like - moons, stars, and mountains perhaps, or simple circles, squares, and ovals. Whatever the design, it's easy to use your cutouts and a little imagination to make homemade greeting cards.

- Colored Cardboard
- Glues
- Scissors

Draw or trace shapes and letters on colored construction paper or cut them from magazines.

Cut out the shapes and/or letters.

Fold a piece of construction paper in half.
- 4Arrange the cutouts on the folded paper to determine your design.

Put rubber cement or glue on one side of the cutout shapes.
- 6Place the shapes on the construction paper, glue-side down.

Smooth out glue bubbles and wipe off excess glue.

When shapes are secure, write a message on the inside with marker.
